In the months and years following formal theological training, the weight of responsibility in Christian ministry can feel great. Sometimes we need support from someone independent, to seek perspective, reassurance, encouragement, and prayer support.
Church Leader Support exists to resource the kingdom of God by supporting the unique and important calling of leaders to Christian ministry.
Church Leader Support provides one to one, leader to leader mentoring and professional support from experienced church leaders.

The level of support depends on the need but usually consists of:

  • Weekly video call – a bespoke mentoring session to discuss any aspect of church leadership, to review, set goals, bounce ideas, all of which is grounded in theological reflection and prayer.
  • Regular communication by email, messaging, and phone to follow up on anything discussed.
  • Prayer support – ping a quick WhatsApp message to your mentor to ask for prayer.
  • Advice on leadership style, vision casting, staff management, managing changes.
  • Spiritual direction, keeping on track, theological discussion and the recommendation of theological resources.
Here are four options of the level of mentoring and support offered:

Option 1.

This provides a monthly mentoring session (up to 2 hours) by video call or in person (depending on distance) as well as occasional contact in between by phone and email.

Option 2.

Most church leaders opt for 2. This provides a fortnightly mentoring video call (lasting around an hour) as well as regular contact in between by phone and email.

Option 3.

Designed for those new into church leadership, provides a weekly mentoring video call, as well as regular contact in between by phone and email.

Option 4.

For those requiring more intensive mentoring and support on a daily basis for a set number of weeks or months.

Church Leader Support is primarily about mentoring church leaders. However, individual coaching on specific subjects or hands-on training can also be provided upon request.
